Congratulations to Kristen Cowan Cuthrell, the new Chair of the Department of Education and Human Development with Clemson University! Kristen is a nationally recognized leader and scholar in rural education who will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new post.

Summit would like to congratulate Kerry McPhail on her appointment as Chair of the Department of Medicinal Chemistry with the University of Utah. Bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role, having distinguished herself as a leader and innovator, Dr. McPhail is poised to lead the department to new heights of excellence.

Summit would like to congratulate Ian Walker on his new role as Department Head and Professor of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science with University of Wyoming. Walker’s goal is to continue the department’s already strong efforts in education, research and outreach, and expand its activities and impact within Wyoming and well beyond.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Votruba-Drzal on her new role as Director of the Learning Research and Development Center (LRDC) with University of Pittsburgh. Elizabeth  will be such an asset in this role of preserving and advancing a strong LRDC as the University continues to grow and develop.

Congratulations goes out to Mariela Srednik, a veterinary bacteriologist who will be leading the bacteriology laboratory group within the Department of Veterinary Sciences of the WSVL within the College of Agriculture, Life Sciences and Natural Resources at University of Wyoming.

With a career spanning 20 years in the library sector and a background in various roles within library and higher education settings, Mathuews brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.
