Summit Search Solutions, Inc. is a boutique executive search firm that specializes in the higher education and nonprofit sectors. Summit offers tiered search solutions that allow clients to customize the level of service for each search. Traditional full-service search services are complemented by sourcing based search models that emphasize marketing the opportunity and building a robust and diverse candidate pool.

Summit was started in 2009 by Carrie Coward who is passionate in her belief that search services must adjust to differing needs, situations, budgets, and circumstances. Carrie set out to create a firm that could be flexible in its services and approaches.

Our search consultants have been in the search industry since 1997 and have specialized in the higher education and nonprofit sectors since 2001. Our search consultants are located in strategic locations across the US including Arizona, California, Colorado, New York, North Carolina, and Oregon.

Summit’s clients range from small to mid-sized independent colleges to highest research activity universities and from professional associations to major foundations.
