Angie understands the success of an organization depends on great leadership. With more than a decade of experience working with higher education, K-12, and nonprofit organizations, Angie is passionate about helping educational and philanthropic institutions find effective leaders. She serves a wide range of colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations in searches for senior leadership positions, specialized administrative and faculty roles, and other academic positions.
Angie strives to understand each organization’s culture and develop a strong rapport with clients, enabling her to connect with the individuals who make the organization successful. A member of the Summit team since 2019, Angie has spent her entire career aiding mission-driven organizations. Angie’s passion for education is rooted in its profound impact on society as a vehicle to advance social good.
Prior to joining Summit, Angie worked for the Northeast Leadership Academy at North Carolina State University. Previously, she directed MBA employer relations and professional development at the College of Charleston and managed the career services team at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Angie earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from Anderson University (SC), a Master of Education in student affairs administration from Clemson University, and a certificate in nonprofit management from the University of Pittsburgh. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the educational evaluation and policy analysis program at North Carolina State University.
Outside of work, Angie enjoys reading, visiting new coffee shops, jogging, hiking, and spending time with her husband and daughter in Raleigh, NC.
