Nonprofit & Healthcare Specialized Search Services

Summit’s President Carrie Coward has over 26 years of experience in recruiting and human resources, with specialized experience in the nonprofit sector.  Summit’s team provides services to nonprofit foundations, associations, and healthcare organizations like the Kellogg Foundation, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Computer Science Teacher’s Association, The American Chiropractic Association, and Charity Navigator.

Why choose Summit for your healthcare or nonprofit search:

  • Specialized experience means that we understand the unique needs in the nonprofit and healthcare markets.
  • Dedicated and knowledgeable search partners work closely with your organization to understand the nuances of your position and institution.
  • Flexible and cost effective services that you select based on the needs of your search.
  • Our commitment to diversity ensures your search will include contacting a diverse candidate pool.

What are the deliverables?

In all cases, Summit provides a slate of quality candidates that are pre-screened based on the criteria you set forth.  In addition, clients are provided with detailed reports containing competitive intelligence that has been gleaned from the marketplace. This report can be used for future sourcing as well.

At Summit, we provide transparency in all our work.  At any point in the search, we will provide reports of the work trail (individuals we have contacted and any information we have learned from the marketplace).

Do you use an applicant tracking system?

Yes, we use an applicant tracking system that enables us to be well-organized during the process.  The system tracks EEO data and we can create reports for you that contain the specifics you need for reporting purposes.

Why does transparency matter?

Transparency in the search process means that we provide you with data at any point during or after the project.  We are committed to partnering with clients and sharing candidate and market data openly.   You will know exactly how your search dollars are being spent.

Who will be managing and sourcing my research project?

Each search is co-led by our President, Carrie Coward, and a lead search consultant.

Can you ensure a diverse slate of candidates?

We can ensure that we are talking to individuals who are doing or are qualified to do the job.  Our placement statistics demonstrate an impressive record of diverse placements; however, the process and the candidate slate is driven by demographics by job type, geography, and marketplace. We work diligently to create sourcing plans that include diversity outreach strategies. We track this work and share the data with you.

Do you have a defined geographical scope?

Summit works with nonprofit organizations throughout the United States.  Many of the organizations we work with have international locations as well.  We have physical offices in North Carolina, New York, Colorado, and California.

Are there other services you provide in addition to recruiting?

We transfer our time-tested research skills and conduct primary research for clients to uncover key competitive information in their respective markets.
